The consortium

The consortium consists of partners from seven European countries (Germany, France, Greece, Italy, Croatia, Sweden and Spain). The consortium already has experience in the realisation of European projects and the partners have already cooperated with each other at various levels.

In an analysis of the current situation, it was established that (1) knowledge in arithmetic and algebra builds on each other to a particularly high degree and (2) there is a proportion of pupils who are unable to participate in this learning progress as they lack the prior knowledge to build on it. However, (3) to date there is no systematic screening process from the beginning of school to the end of secondary level 1 that identifies these potentially at-risk pupils so that they can receive support as early as possible.

This gave rise to the ideas for the DiToM project and the corresponding products that can be found on this page.
