Examples help the children to understand what they are expected to do in each task. The screening should be implemented just before or in the first four weeks after starting school. The tasks cover the content areas that are internationally recognized as the basis for school mathematicslearning:
- Conceptual and perceptual subitizing
- Emerging part-whole understanding
- Counting skills
- Recognition of number symbols
